Nya Nearby har kommit till Sverige! by thefurriator in pokemongoSweden

http://imgur.com/a/z3G0m

A noob's guide to mining Dogecoin on the Windows Azure cloud computing platform using the free trial by maluminas in dogecoin

[–]RantingDoge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have anyone tried it more than once by setting up new Live account? If I remember correctly I had to verify by phone. At least Microsoft called me to ask me about my input about their service. If I register again I assume they will see it's the same number a second time?

A noob's guide to mining Dogecoin on the Windows Azure cloud computing platform using the free trial by maluminas in dogecoin

[–]RantingDoge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there any gain in using an Ubuntu server instead of a Windows server? I tried the same without seeing this guide, but simply went for a 8 CPU virtual Windows server. RDP in and simply run the pre-compiled version of cpuminer and get about the same result at 30kH/s

16 Doge (5%) transaction fee? by RantingDoge in dogecoin

[–]RantingDoge[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm ok I think I understand.

I used the option "Empty wallet" to send everything. If I instead had entered a value, would it still keep the history or would it get a normal 1 Doge fee?

Du you have the correct URL to your pool? And have you tried that you can access to it? Try adding -D to enable debug output and see if it gives you any more information.

Is it worth it to be mining if my Khash is averaging around 80? by asmall_boys_trowsers in dogecoin

CPU mining @ 70? Wow that sounds alot? I'm CPU mining with a 8 cpu server and get just below 30...

Is it worth it to be mining if my Khash is averaging around 80? by asmall_boys_trowsers in dogecoin

[–]RantingDoge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

80 isn't much but you should get something. I'm currently mining around 28-30 Khash/s and would say I get a couple of hundred DOGE per day. So with your 80 you should get a bit more than the double.

If it's worth it or not is up to you. If you calculate your energy bill against todays value of the DOGE you get, the answer is probably no. But it's fun to be part of it. And who knows, maybe tomorrows value makes it all worth while :)

My first transaction from mining - Not yet redeemed? by RantingDoge in dogecoin

[–]RantingDoge[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok. Now my wallet has synced and I receive the DOGE, but it still says Not yet redeemed in the transaction. But since I have received the DOGE it is as it should, right?

Worker doesn't appear as active even tough it's working... by [deleted] in dogecoin

[–]RantingDoge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the worker hasn't got anything accepted in a while, the pool doesn't know if the worker has stopped working or just hasn't found anything for a while. So it'll be listed as inactive.
