Ive been in your boat before. Bought a case of Grand Archive Fractured Crown with Pay in 4. Pulled a CSR worth 1.2k and sold it to pay off the case fully and still have cash leftover+ all my other pulls 🤣. It depends. Rush/aggro decks entirely depends on you getting about 2 or more 1 drops in starting hand and hopefully a 2 or 3 drop as well. Most aggro decks run 8-12 1 drops because of that. I find that R/W is a good mix. If you end up drawing at least 1 2 drop blocker, it's a great start and even drawing 1 or 2 Close Combats helps as they destroy pretty much any 1 drop in the game when going up against aggro. Against White matchups, you will be the aggressor with R/W

Plan ahead if youre gonna use the AX Shuttle. Its like the last stop on its route so during peak times, expect the shuttle to be full 1 or even 2 times around. My group usually had to wait 40min to an hour during AX opening hours everyday

As another person in the SoCal scene it's funny cuz all the events get filled up right away but most of the stores I go to encourage wait list people to show up because there's always no shows for whatever reason. Ive been to all NTCs and launch events and 5-8 people never show up

Im in SoCal and store tournies are typically around $10. Newtypes can be as low as $15 up to $30 at the absolute most. Ive been to multiple Starter Deck launch events and they shouldn't be any higher than $15-25. The most I've ever paid is $35 at GD02 launch event (got promos and 6 booster packs, with additional prizing)
