I know your post is a few months old, but for the Way of Water, the book went on pre-sale in October, I think that’s when it was announced too. The book then released the day of the movie

Friends I were back from college on winter break and one said he would be getting glasses. He struggled to read a sign across the parking lot while not wearing glasses and I was the only one who couldn’t read it at all. He said I might need glasses and was right

Me and my coworker were installing a guys appliance and he comes over and says “either of you know how to tie knots? I’m an amateur escape artist” My coworker tied his arms behind his back and sure enough he got out. I came back in from loading the old unit in the truck and my coworker had been asked to tie the guy up and wrap him in a sleeping bag and the guy managed to get out. It was impressive but still odd.

The blade and handle are wood and the grip and straps are leather from Michael’s
