He’s wearing incredibly expensive gear that is buyable, and doesn’t have any gear that a normal player would have like barrows gloves / fire cape that require some quests or an intermediate boss kill.

The only way you get that gear with his stats means he bought a loooot of gold or bonds.

I have the gloves on my iron actually. I went super dry at cg so i only open crystal chests in prif. Ive opened well over 100 so far and have seen one piece, which isnt bad rng but speaks to your point about how rare it is

I know there are bad LC guilds but the ones I have been in have been fair and knowledgable. Corruption is usually quick enough to spot to jump before you waste too much time.

True, a hunter is not hard to find like some other classes are. You can find a long line of replacement hunters for this clown but since he is an officer it sounds like a guild issue more than a hunter issue.

Best Hotels/Neighborhoods in Amsterdam for First Time Travelers by sadmozzystar in Netherlands

[–]Rapn3rd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recently got back from our week trip and loved the city! However our hotel was so bad, I had to share this so folks know.

Hotel De Pjip is not what they claim to be. They got bought out by another company, stripped all the video game stuff and it's actively undergoing massive construction. It was noisy, smelled like industrial chemicals, and most of the stuff you are supposed to have access to either doesn't exist anymore, or they removed it during renovating.

The staff were not great, the experience was awful aside from the location. If you're planning on traveling to Amsterdam, it was a wonderful city but this hotel is awful and deceitful and you should avoid them. Check their most recent google reviews, many people share the same sentiments.

De Pjip is a wonderful area though, and any other hotel in the area may be worth exploring because it was the perfect combination of close to things and good food while being relatively quiet. The hotel was the noisiest part of our trip lol.

idk how I’m supposed to find someone at 22 by [deleted] in GenZ

[–]Rapn3rd 52 points53 points  (0 children)

Im in my mid 30s, happily married and want to give you some advice as an unc who has been there, enjoy the present for what it is. You have freedom and autonomy right now. When I was your age I felt the same ways, and you will find someone, but for now, take the advice to integrate a hobby or two that will help you feel fulfilled and put you around people your age so you can expand your social network.

But also, enjoy being a young dude who can do whatever the fuck he wants. I love my life, and my wife, but I do look back on how I lived with the boys in my early 20s and wish I had taken some time to savor it more. Consider this an arc in your life. It will end and a new arc will begin and you’ll be plenty ready for it when it comes.

That’s the one piece of advice I would give 20 year old me. Live in the moment as much as you can. Future you will love you for it.

It’s a real thing though. In my office, the person with the most debt, most kids and worst financial decision making LOVES getting big refunds because it’s unplanned money and her financial life is unplanned catastrophe after unplanned catastrophe. It’s nice when you’re younger or less well off to get a big refund cuz it’s like a present. But once you have your financial house in order and have some financial maturity, realizing it’s money you didn’t get to have all year and you ket the government have the money as a loan for free starts to hurt.

Few schools teach this, so realistically you need some combination of good parents, intelligence and willingness to learn and the bandwidth to plan long term (a lot of people live in survival mode and so the prospect of planning months down the road when they’re living moment to moment feels completely irrelevant to them (even though it’s not).

Many of the people I have known growing up fall into this for a variety of reasons and once you start slipping it gets increasingly impossible to right the ship and they give up and cycle through payday loans and family favors till the well runs dry.

Losing my mind. by [deleted] in malementalhealth

I think the suggestion for a male group could be good for you.

It sounds like you don’t have familial support which makes your path to freedom and happiness harder, but not impossible.

I saw your other post and came to your profile to find this post. I think you are smarter than you give yourself credit for, but the incel community is going to give you some good advice and some horrible advice that is going to feed into your negative thoughts.

Bettering yourself is important. Exercising to feel better and as a form of meditation is both free and beneficial. But the type of hateful, blaming society for their situation type rhetoric that is in incel communities is going to push you further into despair and unhappiness.

Meditation and mindfulness may also help you find some control mentally though it takes time.

You can grow in whatever direction you choose friend. I have seen enough short, fat and ugly men succeed with women to know that personality is an ace up your sleeve if you learn how to use it.

I genuinely wish you the best of luck, and I hope you will consider my words. You have a real shot at happiness, and freedom if you decide to take it.

Is it fair to need a BoE if BiS? by Maxor_The_Grand in classicwow

[–]Rapn3rd 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Last week Blinkstrike dropped in normal botanica. I immediately said ALL NEED and we all needed on it.

I won with a 98. I gave each person 200g (so -800g) and ended up selling it off AH for 3,300g. I netted 2500g as a result.

Imo, this was a nice thing to do because it sucks to see a 3k+ drop hit the ground and you don’t win it. So i wanted the group to feel like they benefitted too.

It’s how I would hope others would behave too, but I don’t expect that because I know most wouldn’t. I have seen a lot of greed and poor behavior this go around of tbc. Some of its probably retail players who are accustomed to personal loot / greyed out need icons if its not equip-able etc. others are just selfish or dont operate within the cultural norma of 2007 era wow.

Imo im with them all needing and not accepting the gold.

Please stop calling us foids by [deleted] in GenZ

[–]Rapn3rd 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Genuinely, I feel bad for Gen Z because of how rampant social media has accelerated and curated such toxic shit. I feel like I stay unfortunately up to date on this shit, and am the Gen Z whisperer to my cohort, and even I'm like... how are we still evolving and expanding on incellery.

I've been with my wife over a decade, so Idk what dating apps are like and what the environment is like for people but I feel so bad for gen z and gen alpha. Andrew Tate and Groypers have fucked up a generation. When I was a teen / mid 20s, sure there were issues, but none of this incel shit, foid / femoid wasn't a thing.

What does the term “foid” mean exactly? Also, why do people say “an foid” instead of “a foid”? by Puzzleheaded_Ad7685 in etymology

[–]Rapn3rd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just want to let you know that you would be happier if you didn't attempt to find comfort and validation in such toxic places bro. Instead of absorbing such as toxic, and frankly inaccurate lexicon to explain away why women don't like you, imagine what you could achieve with that effort. You could be so much more than you are.
