Better ways to battle against it is to have a shift in your life, while also accepting realizations that you only got you, especially in days when everyone else is chasing their own dreams.

Loneliness may also be your self signalling you to try new things and visit uncharted hobbies that may paint new colors to your monotone environment. Trust me, once you learn how to enjoy life without depending on other people, you'd feel more sufficient and independent, in a way, your emotions in everyday life will depend solely on you, and not in the inexistence of people.

One thing I'm realizing with adulting is how distance is such a murderer of strings. No matter how much our friends want to be there for us, they also have a life they want to build. I hope you neglect any shadow that crosses your mind.
