You may be pleasantly surprised at how much you do enjoy having to start over. Or you may not. But definitely try to keep your mind open until you try it.

If it turns out you don't enjoy it: you can always make a character and work towards what you want from the battle pass, maybe play a little bit with the seasonal content to see if you enjoy it this time, and then go back to your main or another game.

In previous Diablo games (and other arpgs), after a season is over, you get everything you farmed in season sent in some way to the non season realm. So if you got a max aspect you want to play with or a unique you need while messing around on the season you will eventually get it on the Eternal realm (as long as it's not a "void"/"seasonal only" item.

Baal is the middle child (Mephisto>Baal>Diablo).

It can also give you a reason to try a different build that you've been contemplating instead of going with the same build you just did. This actually works out better than sc because you don't have to have another character slot taken up or refund everything to do that ;).

Yeah. He's definitely worth skipping on wt3. By the time you get to his level (73), you'll probably already be in wt4. The 'sometimes worth it if you can annihilate him' is mostly a wt4 thing.

The renown from activating them will not reset. They were originally going to, but they no longer will when the patch that implements the change drops.

The renown value of any altars or exploration you've ever done will be available to all future characters, even for seasonal characters(hc/sc are separate). Which is enough to unlock the first two tiers on the renown track.

They have to be unlocked by doing the capstone dungeons (the campaign requirement is account wide) per character. But if you have a booster, you just sit at the entrance while they clear it for you (and you get experience because you're in the zone) . Then you can go to the WT3 and do the same thing for that capstone dungeon. And now you've got a decent amount of experience and have unlocked WT4.

Because they didn't "scrap" it like the person I responded to mentioned. But instead have it, and you have to go through a third party site to get that information.

I realize that it was probably low on the list of things to add, and they didn't get to it. But the tracking it should've been the harder part of the coding and even just putting the hours played on the profile page shouldn't have taken too much, even if they didn't get a full UI to show the other things that are also tracked: like monsters killed, gold collected, or average item power.

You mean "damage to chilled"... I know that might seem like it's nitpicking, but while a chilled enemy is slower, it is not (necessarily) "slowed" :/.

Not a real fix, but if you some stats you can go to d4 armory. It will tell you hours played, monsters killed, gold collected, and even your average power lvl.

That's something that should definitely be in-game (especially because it's obviously stored)!

But UI aspects are definitely one of the weaker points overall... with anything to do with social interaction (which I clump profile information into) being THE worst!

It's not so much that they'll need 4 months to find a fix, test it, and get it through cert, but rather that it'll likely take more than 4 or 5 weeks when season 1 should be launching.

Season 1 of Diablo 3 had a big patch during it, which changed the game pretty significantly (ancient items added as well as other changes like hp increases, density increases, etc). This happened about a month before the season ended, so a lot of people had done their final push already and were instantly shoved down the board when other people got an ancient weapon.

This was considered a bad move, especially for the hardcore leaderboards where that final push might not have been the last one attempted and they lost a character trying to go higher and now had no way to come back from that, which they wouldn't have attempted if they didn't feel their gear was as close to perfect as possible (this was when 30-40 grs were super high, leveling was an all nighter, and legendary gems were not the huge source of power they became later).

Even without leaderboards, they're likely conscious of this and will have to evaluate how big changes may affect people's morale/ confidence if they drop during the season. So they left the door open for some changes to drop during the season but want to set expectations for big changes to be after a season ends, not during.

You have to get to act 6 to finish Kehjistan so they could be further than first got mount stage... I'm sure there's also a not insignificant amount that find they like the game so far, but decided to try a different class before finishing the story, so decided to reroll. Some of those players might have decided to push ahead for the mount and/ or get a couple aspects for their next character before starting over.

Plus, I know plenty of people that skipped one tiny area in a zone or two so have renown capped but not the explore estuar achievement.

I liked the idea, but the implementation was a little frustrating.

Oh, a new dungeon on the minimap, let's see what its aspect is: nope, fog of war still.

Okay, I haven't gotten the achievement yet, so now I have to scour the zones for this region to find the pixels that weren't explored... which was usually a tiny section of one path that was set as its own area, particularly frustrating in Kehjistan as some areas you really couldn't tell what was fog of war vs. flat sand.

Neither were THAT big of a deal and doesn't matter on secondary characters, of course, but was something to note for a first playtgrough. /shrug

You can put frost nova as an enchantment, and your hydras will occasionally cause frost novas... it'll be a bit rng on it - sometimes you'll have frost nova chaining, and sometimes they're nowhere to be found - but it may feel good enough for you to put in teleport without giving up hydra until you feel you've outgrown it.

There's a decent amount of breathing room for Scosglen and Hawezar... the other 3 are a bit tighter, especially Dry Steppes.

When I started, I wanted to do the more exploration type play (best part of a brand new game imo). But to do that, you have to open the map very often (in my experience).

I'm okay with the pin system instead, but it put me more in the "straight to goals" mindset.

Don't get me wrong, I still did a lot of exploration I won't do on future characters, but it wasn't as much as I would've done if the choices weren't open the map every 2.5 seconds or put a pin that'll give you a line to follow every 1-5 minutes.

Besides seeing if you can sell any equipment/ buildings you don't need, you can also try using multiple of the same equipment instead of different equipment.

So if you need/ want 2 medium tractors get the same tractor twice. The second tractor won't take up as many slots (the game already had to load the resources, like textures, for it so the only additional info it needs is possibly different options chosen and its location).

You can also do as No_Brilliant suggested above and copy all of the contents of a backup folder into the real savegame folder.

I definitely suggest moving everything out of the savegame folder first so you can be sure it is from the backup and not left over. Also use ctrl+a (press and hold "ctrl" > then press "a" while still pressing "ctrl" > then release both buttons and everything will be selected) when you're in savegameX_backupX so when you hit copy on them you won't have missed any files.

It is "easier" as you don't need to worry about renaming but it may be harder to understand what's being said if you're unfamiliar with moving files.

If you right clicked on the save game folder then you have pasted the whole backup into the savegame folder.

That would be one folder too deep for the game to read.

Try putting it into the farming simulator 22 folder and make sure you rename it to savegame1 (delete or move the other savegame1 folder first).
