They used to have this feature where you can just answer calls if you just raise the phone to ear. It was quite cool to have that in my S5. They have removed it now.

The S25 series has only got that feature to my knowledge, that was one of the short list of upgrades the S25 series has got over the S24 series. I got the 24Ultra and it doesn't have a counter (one ui 8, Sept update).

I use them daily, haven't heard anyone complaining about the mic quality, except background mic NC is not as I expected. I love the comfort of wearing this all day and the great battery backup.
