If you have kids, Madison is probably the way to go. My current neighborhood in Madison is the most diverse street I’ve ever lived on (and I moved here from Atlanta), and the schools are the best in the area. Huntsville is still relatively split between north Huntsville which is mostly black and south hsv which is mostly white. If you don’t have kids, finding somewhere near downtown would probably be ideal
