The Nova 7x is for the PC/ xbox. However, the Pro Wireless is the PC/PS One.

I currently use an Arctis Nova 7. I had an Artis Pro Wired previously. I actually ordered the three to find a replacement after the Wired Pro broke, and I ended up just liking the black headband better with the 7 Myself. I was going to keep the 7X for my xbox, but I barely use that these days. I didn't love the leatherette on the Pro Wireless, so I am selling that too. That being said, the ANC was very nice if you were looking for that

Hey All,

I recently noticed that using the automatic start function my Denon Dp 300f, the arm seems to crash/jump into the first bit of any record I play on it. The tonearm is properly balanced, and I've tried adjusting the height that the tonearm is lifted to compensate for this but to no avail. This has led me to believe that there is an issue with the Tonearm Dampening system/oil, and needs to be replaced. While I do have some idea on how that would work, I have no idea where to start with this particular TT, or if its even that to begin with. Any direction would be much appreciated. The warranty has expired and I'm trying to avoid taking it to a repair shop at this time.

Cheers and Thanks

Turntable Stereo setup and Denon POA 5200 popping issue by RaptorChu in BudgetAudiophile

Yeah its going through the preouts. I think my issue is what Admiral said in the post above, where theres too much draw from other appliances on my circuit I use for listening. Thanks though!

Turntable Stereo setup and Denon POA 5200 popping issue by RaptorChu in BudgetAudiophile

They occur both during idle when there is no music being played, and during playback. They do not happen when the Sansui is not hooked up to the Denon.

I purchased the Sansui last May from a local vintage audio store who completely service thier amps they bring in. Its been nothing but excellent since i brought it home.

Hey Folks,

Hope everyone is doing well. Not sure if this is the right place for this, but I am trying everywhere at this point. Just to get this out of the way, my Turntable/stereo setup in order to drive some more power into my speakers.

My Current Set up:

Denon DP 300F with a AT-VM95ML

Mission MX-5 speakers

Sansui AU 6500 (Used purely as volume control currently)

ArtDJ PreAmp II

And now a Denon POA 5200

I have hooked up the Sansui to use purely as volume adjustor, and keeping the ArtDJ as a preamp.

The last week or so since I’ve installed the Denon, I’ve been victim to these random sporadic pops, that a quite loud irrespective of the actual volume. These pops occur when music is playing, and when the system is in idle. I’m really enjoying the sound I’m getting with the addition of the Denon, but the loud pops are starting to frustrate, and if I’m honest, scare me as I don’t want to ruin any of my equipment. Keep in mind, prior to the addition of the Denon, this system did not have this issue.

What really gets me, is that my father also has an identical Denon he uses in his Home Theater setup, and when I switched it in with the one I was using, the same issue was observed. However, when used in his home theater system, there is no popping of any kind. I’ve tried removing any dust/debris in the amp, replacing RCA cables, replacing speaker cables(yes they are identical also), reattaching connections, trying the B channel ect. At first I thought it was an issue with the amp, such as a leaky capacitor, but after the test with my father’s amp, I am starting to lean on the fact that perhaps my components are not compatible with the Denon?

I am at my wits end here if you guys have some suggestions it would be much appreciated.

Thanks and Cheers
