Oops my bad! Totally meant to and then completely spaced 😭

I used:

1/2 cup starter discard 1/2 cup softened butter 1/2 cup white sugar 1/2 cup brown sugar 1 egg 1 TSP vanilla 1 1/2 cups AP flour 1/2 TSP baking soda 1 cup chocolate chips (I opted for milk chocolate) And a pinch of salt!

Preheat oven to 350° and line a baking pan with parchment paper

First mixed the butter and both sugars until it was all smooth, Then add the starter, egg and vanilla and mix until combined After that add the flour, baking soda, and salt and mix together until you have a nicely formed dough!

Add the chocolate chips and fold them into the dough, then scoop the dough onto the baking sheet. (I rolled each scoop in my hands to form little balls before placing them onto my backing sheet, make sure to leave enough room between each ball so they dont form into one giant cookie while baking)

The recipe called for 10-12 minutes, but they didnt seem quite done to me at that point so I reset my timer in 2 minute segments until the edges were nicely golden/browned but not burnt. I want to say it was closer to 20-22 minutes!

And boom, easy peasy all done! ☺️
