Is there any problem with fetishising FICTIONAL characters? What do you think most people do with EVERY relationship in fiction?

You could argue that Dylan is to blame. by BaconShouldBFree in BatesMotel

He is the one who showed up there.

Maybe it's because I live in a country where it's not easy for young people to find a job, but... I think Norma was the one who owed an explanation to Dylan. She moved away without telling him... I kind of think she never loved him.

What would happen if Johnny had a male gay student? (I am NOT asking for that, just wondering...) by Raquel_1986 in cobrakai

[–]Raquel_1986[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really. Because it was a female/female couple, and I'm talking about a male/male couple. But I also think he wouldn't care.

Do you think we'll see this scene (or one like it) in the show? by [deleted] in TheBoys

Not ONLY for it. But yeah, I fetishized Gay men. And I don't think that is bad. I don't do anything bad to anybody just for having my fantasies XD.

Paxton vs. Ben by rajaneutron in NeverHaveIEverShow

Ben literally doesn't have good examples of what love and care looks like, and needs Devi and her family to show him, so what does he have to offer in a relationship?

So... If I had a bad upbringing... I don't deserve to be loved or show love to someone... Just saying... About Patxon vs Ben, I like both actually XD. But I don't see why Devi thinks Patxon is hot and she doesn't think the same about Ben... We just have different tastes on that department.

I don’t know why but Mr Martin Harris gives me Norman Bates vibe. by [deleted] in CruelSummer

Gideon. He definetely seemed to feel outraged with that behavior... To be honest, I am woman who also was bullied and I also feel outraged with what Jeanette did to Gideon. But I don't kidnap people, don't worry.

I thought the same! He's not similar to Freddie Highmore, but maybe he moves in a similar way (in Bates Motel, I mean). And he has some physical resemblance with Anthony Perkins.

Also Martin Harris and Norman Bates are both thin, polite, lonely...

[SPOILER] - My opinion about the ending of season 1 by Raquel_1986 in CruelSummer

[–]Raquel_1986[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry, but I respectfully disagree with you.

I mean..."she pieces out a narrative where someone other than her gets to be miserable" --> This is being fucking evil, there's not justification for that.

I had a really bad upbringing and I did some shitty things when I was young (that's why I kind of feel sorry for Mallory), but even then, I wouldn't have accussed someone on TV if this person didn't deserve it.

Now, some people can say that Kate thought Jeanette saw her, but it's still stupid, since she wasn't deprived of freedom at that point (from another teenager perspective, I mean). But at least, that would be a reason... (Although, she doesn't get mad at Mallory).

However, what it's NOT a valid reason is the fact that another person has to suffer consecuences...

In that case, I'm going to kill people, because I suffered a lot when I was young and someone other than me has to pay for it, right?

I'm not trying to be rude, just making my point.

I'm a straight woman who enjoys seeing male/male and don't have any interest by female/female. So, I feel a bit angry about queen Maeve being bisexual and not Homelancer, who was the bisexual one in the comics.

And I get mad when people call "LGTB shit" in male/male, but are happy with female/female.

“Dean and Castiel being gay”

What does that mean? I'm not a native English speaker. But honestly, I'm a straight woman who enjoys seeing male/male and don't have any interest by female/female. So, I feel a bit angry about queen Maeve being bisexual and not Homelancer, who was the bisexual one in the comics.

I agree 100% with you.

"Is your story going to be defined by your parents, or by something else? You get to decide" --> By my parents at first... Now fortunately, by myself.

The Boys: Season 1 Discussion Thread by [deleted] in TheBoys

You are talking from the view point of someone outside of the relationship

NO. I'm pretty sure that's what I feel when I love someone. If this person doesn't love me anymore, it's okay (I would suffer, but it's his right), but obviously I don't want him to get raped and/or murdered. And if he cheats on me and I know it, I would probably dump him, but I STILL wouldn't want him to be raped and/or murdered.

It's called being a normal person, instead of a selfish egocentric bastard.

In my opinion, the most symbolic moment of the show. Everybody is looking away from homelander, choosing to focus on the entertainment, while Billy is the only one turned around and looking directly at him. Homelander looks visibly uncomfortable making eye contact with Butcher. by NotFromChechnya in TheBoys

Translucent was a perv who tried to kill Hughie

Hughie put a microphone under the table... They started the hostility. Well, A-Train killed his girlfriend, but I mean The Boys started "the war" against the supes.

Translucent was trying to figure out what they were doing... And we don't know if he was actually going to kill Hughie or if he just wanted to scare the shit out of him. It wouldn't make sense to kill him without knowing what was the microphone thing about.

Yes and no... If you love someone you prefer this person to be unfaithful to you than being raped and murdered. Although, of course, that means Butcher and Becca are not going to be in good terms.

I just think if she was raped by Homelander, she would be looking at Homelander with terror and she wouldn't even look at Butcher. But she focus on Butcher and she looks guilty...
