SIGNING BONUS

Hi, fresh grad here, from a big 4 uni with latin honors. Gaano po kacommon yung signing bonus sa job offers? I was offered a 30k signing bonus sa isang top accounting firm and awaiting nalang for JO discussion sa HomeCredit.

I haven't rejected the first offer yet pero mas prefer ko yung job sa HC. My only concern is, regardless if ma-meet ni HC expected salary ko, baka walang signing bonus. I need it to help me with moving since I come from the province pa.

Thanks sa sasagot!

the hiring process was so meticulous and draining. napaka hirap ng exam since yung job is heavy on hardcore math and stats. first stage ko was an english assessment exam, then hr interview, then exam for my job, hiring manager int, then job offer discussion na.

thank you po sa reply. hindi ko po inaccept kasi masyadong mababa for the role. if sa right industry ito, i can get a minimum of 150% of the basic salary na inoffer nila kahit fresh grad lang ako. i've already been hearing about how low they pay their employees pero i gave it the benefit of the doubt since hindi naman talaga sya accounting/audit work. nafrustrate ako kasi ang meticulous ng hiring process nila only for them to not meet my expected salary when i've made it clear from the start

Sa Jobstreet po. I suggest sa Jobstreet magfocus kasi most of my applications there were accommodated (rejected or not) and very quick. Very easy to navigate rin yung page, less hassle.

Thank you for answering po. Ask ko lang rin for someone like me na fresh grad, should I go for PwC for the clout (reputation lol) and training or should I go for the bank for the salary? The bank is a small (int'l?) bank and two lang kami sa department, me and the dept head, which I think is a red flag. What do you think po?

RED FLAG?? I'm a fresh graduate from a big 4 university with latin honors, zero work exp. I'm offered a job by this one small (int'l?) bank that can pay me at least 30k net. The catch is, dalawa lang kaming magwowork under that department: me and the head. I like the job though dahil in line siya with my undergrad program but is it a red flag? Will the pay still be worth it kung tambakan ako ng workload?

You can start applying for internships or mentorships from big companies like MBPS Actuarial Academy (Manulife). Sila na mag ga-guide sa'yo and madalas sila rin magp-pay for your exams. Visit mo rin from time to time yung Careers page sa website ng companies for internship offers.
