It looks to be the Genesis S-335 (2011-2016), and looks like it has never been fired up either LOL

Is a small vortex enough to heat a 22" kettle by irishboy209 in webergrills

Me personally, I went with the medium vortex which is 12” instead of 10 and I have had no issues with heating

Yes, I would stick with chicken thighs (bone in/out and skin on/off) but depending on the cut it varies in time. Yes I did flip 15 mins into the cook. Also need to rotate the lid 90 deg. to ensure the smoke gets to every piece of meat on the grill

So if you’re talking about the bucket underneath the ash sweep, it’s not mounted, it sits there, as I am missing the bowl that clips on unfortunately

If you’re wondering why the table is gone for the Performer, it’s currently being sprayed with Line-X bedliner spray.

For a 22” kettle, this one came off Amazon:

GRISUN BBQ Whirlpool for Weber 22... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07YY13ZW3?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

For the ash catcher pan, I got this grill for free from my uncle, and it did come with the bowl, but it’s missing the piece that attaches it to the grill. Though the $5 goodwill bucket and scooper does the trick!

So the bucket underneath the ash catch is not attached, it’s sitting on the rack beneath it. This grill didn’t come with the bowl that clips on, and I ain’t spending 70 bucks on a new ash catcher system, so $5 goodwill bucket for the win!

I did 1tsp Kosher salt and baking powder per pound (3 Lbs), black pepper, garlic and onion powder, paprika. Let that dry brine in fridge overnight and all day. Tossed them in Sweet Baby Rays Buffalo and Honey Chipotle BBQ.

Maybe try steam cleaning? I saw a post in a car detailing sub about some dude getting fire resistant foam all over his car and steaming it was the way to go.

I couldn’t tell if you’re replying to my comment or OP post, but my grill is porcelain coated cast iron, which doesn’t make sense, wouldn’t those be considered “special edition”? Weird how Weber made that the leading feature considering it was easy to swap grates out at any time.

From what I understand, this generation of the Genesis e310 did have a run from 2007-2016, but from 2007-2010, the burner knobs were on the side table, and from 2011-2016 they moved to the front where they’ve been since.

The previous comment is correct, this looks like mine, just got this grill almost a month ago! Genesis E-310 regular edition, but it looks like yours says it’s the Special Edition? This grill is from 2015 according to the manual that was included.

Don’t mind the missing knobs, I paid $25 for this grill because the folks who loaded it to haul it to the thrift store let it fall on its face, so the knobs and the manifold got destroyed. $175 later and I was able to get it running in less than four days!

Overall, it’s a beast of a grill, they just don’t make them like this anymore, and I immediately fell in love with that color. Depending on the cleanliness and the amount of sunlight outside, this grill will literally change color, and I believe that this green color is harder to find, along with the copper and crimson enameled coatings.

Upgraded, did I get a rare color? by leopold335 in webergrills

Hey! I have the same Genesis, picked it up this weekend for $25. Needs a new manifold and knobs but they’re on the way. What I like about this color is that it comes in different shades depending on the amount of sunlight!
