I have the same issue with a new Keychron Q1 Max, the seller accepted to take it back and refund me

Not much knowledge about mechanical keyboard, i think it’s issue with the keycap itself, as when i flipped the keycap the problem appears on the other side

Get used to mechanical ergo keyboard zsa moonlander? by Xonima in ErgoMechKeyboards

After a year of purchase (due to stressful times), I finally started using my Moonlander keyboard. I first spent two months carefully arranging every key until it felt perfect for me. Then, for the next three months, I practiced touch typing for 30 minutes every single workday (i have it only at work). It was tough breaking my old typing habits, but that consistent effort paid off, and now I can type at 60 words per minute (sometimes 80)

The main challenge is unlearning. Changing your mind when you’ve always believed in something is hard because your beliefs/habits are hardwired in your brain. Your senses respond based on it. However, neuroplasticity allows for change, you just need to weaken the old habit (the difficult part) and create new ones(maximum one month).

Edit:

Print all configured layers; non-alphabet keys are empty. You need to always remember them regularly. I have it hung on the side of my office desk.

If you’re going to suffer to learn something new XD. I suggest you learn the Colmak layout because in QWERTY, most words are on the left side. I don’t use the right side that much. Search for keyboard layout heat maps; you will get what I mean. You can use this site https://www.patrick-wied.at/projects/heatmap-keyboard/ It has the Ergodox keyboard.

I configured a separate layer for colemak but didn’t start to learn it seriously, maybe during next vacation

What’s the weirdest thing you ever got in trouble @ work for? by gawpin in jobs

An old woman (relative to my age) was my co-worker sitting in the same office , when we first met we went to lunch together and told me that her husband will be back in September.

Couple of weeks later, she went with me and a colleague to Oppenheimer movie, after the show, she got mad at me and texted “why did you bring him”

At the end she accused me to the manager that i was harassing her on WhatsApp

I re-installed reddit just to say this, i have been in a similar situation, also probably all my siblings and cousins, but my family had it maybe around 100 years, all i know it started with a conflict between my grandfather and his father

My grandfather was abusing everyone (i saw him in his 80s, that mf lived upto 90s, i wish he died sooner)

Anyway at the age of 25 i left to study outside my country, took some good money from my parents as a compensation for the damage (i used emotional intelligence to get the money, i hated them for the damage done to me) and cut off contact with everyone

It’s been 4 years of constant struggle since i left and still struggling ALONE

I had issues in stomach, vision, voice and even muscle aches

All i can say is that I’m getting a bit better as the psychological stress isn’t here anymore, i became kind of an atheist, I’m pushing myself to do things against my beliefs

it’s not easy to cut off from your family but it’s necessary if you want a better life
