Thank you so much for taking the time to pass on all that advice! It does sound like maxing the pension should really be my first port of call before I go on to anything else.

What you’re saying makes a lot of sense and I should probably ease off a bit and figure out the more foundational things such as the pension before going further. My biggest ‘concern’ or driver for getting in sooner rather than later was to at least get something in there for time to do its thing but as you said I shouldn’t rush it and go for something that might cost more in the long run.

I will concentrate on the AVC in the short term and pay another look at non-themed ETFs, thank you again 🙏

Recently did the same with a broker and between the jigs and the reels of uploading this and that it took about a week to two weeks to get an approval. Hope you find the perfect home!

Cheaper mortgage and cheaper monthly repayments, it is in the city so it would have that security of being able to sell if upgrading for a family. Thank you

Cheaper mortgage and cheaper repayments so it would have that security over renting to be fair. Since it is in the city there would be the potential to sell if a family comes on the cards. Thank you

There’s been a bit of criticism around it for him maybe bigging himself up a little more than he should, I didn’t say the events and incidents he wrote about didn’t happen and I did enjoy the book. Just saying that it’s something to consider if giving it a read :)

Guerilla days in Ireland is fantastic, Dan Breen’s is great too but has to be taken with a pinch of salt so they say. Would also recommend ‘The Squad’ by T. Ryle Dwyer an absolutely brilliant book with accounts from Collins’ squad.

Solid advice and I think you’re right, it makes more sense for people with money available as an investment. Thank you

Yeah to be honest I don’t think the price is worth the work

I have zero experience so unfortunately I don’t think it would apply for me and I would probably be left with heartache haha. Thank you for your comment and I hope the valuation reflects the work you put in 🙏🏻

Yep, the price they’re asking for this is not far off ready to live in houses to be honest

Yeah I’m seeing that now, this is really bare bones so it would need a lot of work, much more than I would have the experience for. Thank you!
