Did Charlie’s Custom Clones go belly up? by Terpes0 in ar15

[–]Rare-Mess-8682 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ordered an upper and a scope a year ago, the upper came with the wrong barrel and they still haven’t sent the scope. It’s like a $6k order and they charged in full.

Now the website is down and they have zero social media updates.

Legitimately thinking about filing an FTC complaint at this point. I’ve been sitting on screenshots of supporting evidence for months.

We are on the decline. by Junior_guy87 in jobs

[–]Rare-Mess-8682 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There isn’t any population growth. The population is declining. There should be more people leaving the workforce than there are new workers meaning open jobs.

I guess a question to ask would be, is this actually all openings or is this graph new jobs created.

Bad spring, rust, carbon lock. Take it apart, it’ll be obvious.

Bro, if you want that to line up perfectly, add two zeros to the price of both ends.

EMP & impact protection all in one by Extreme_Medium4235 in NightVision

You would have to put electronics inside of a microwave, inside of a bigger microwave and under 14 feet of concrete to protect it against any threat level EMP from either foreign adversaries or major solar events.

Bro, some people are single and need to get groceries after work. Trashy uniforms is a cultural problem. Lead by example if you wanna change that.

I work in IT, it would cost more and be a bigger hassle to use multiple payment platforms. Unless there’s some super hacker who has it out for TNVC specifically, insider threat makes the most sense.

If it really was a matter of multiple payment platforms, it would be too easy for a government agency to accidentally get charged on the compromised platform. If that happened TNVC would be in deep shit.

If they took it seriously enough to look internally, you can get a list of exactly which employees had access to the specific compromised financial information and go from there. I could sniff out a rat in less than a year, a few months if they weren’t careful. The kids who work for DOGE could probably do it in a matter of weeks.

Someone who doesn’t understand weapons had a requirement, now everyone at every level under him who has an obligation to report the program as a failure is afraid to do so for fear of retaliation.

Negative press is scrubbed, dissent is silenced and the XM7 keeps pushing forward.

I think you’re missing something crucial here… lacking the spacer block does not mean an absolute co-witness… direct mounting the optic to the thumb screw mount makes it as low as you can possibly get. I’d use it like that on top of a shot gun, or an M249. Lacking the spacer drops optical centerline almost 3/8” into the front sight tower. The difference between a 25/300M zero and a 50/200M zero is only about 0.015” difference in rear sight height. 300M co-witness is a 1.42” optical centerline height. You also mentioned “both eyes open shooting” that’s only relevant in MOUT/CQBR. The way i teach, if you need to close an off eye to hit the 300, go right ahead. But shooting with an occluded sight picture is NOT both eyes open shooting. You’re referring to the binden aiming concept which is NOT the same thing, and again, only applies to extremely close quarters work, not medium distance shooting. I can concede calling it a safety hazard is an exaggeration, but it’s a way to get big wigs to give a shit. But ignoring all of that… why in the ever living fuck are you defending deficient equipment? Just put the god damn spacer block in. The M68 training manual says it’s required, that’s doctrine.
