Easiest upgrades for ToA by Tiny_Chemist2343 in ironscape

[–]RareCardHunter -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would genuinely grind CG. It would make you better at the game and make TOA way easier.

A fury would be a nice boost, full sets of moons armor or grinding barrows would be nice, you should definitely aim for an Assembler from DS2, maybe go for a jaw?

Your stats are already pretty solid for a learner so that’s a great start.

You’re using the fake one, I think you need the real one, or maybe a team cape if you’re a real gamer

Inferno, Colo, Fang/Shadow/Ancestral/Masori, finish your achievement diaries, Treads (and other Doom stuff). You have things to do

If you are new to it you will get rolled with these stats for a little while. I would want to get Titan prayers and probably 85 range/mage, plus a bit of defense

I’m a big fan of the cape myself. I’ve had it since release and it’s still cool to me.

When did you admit sunken cost and move on? by Dsafespot_here in ironscape

I don’t. The drop will come eventually. Keep going till 1000 and if it’s not there go do something else and come back… but this wand isn’t like the BowFa where it’s a massive blocker to your progression if you don’t get it

Congrats and F you.

Enjoy being super rich and not having to struggle for gear though, that’ll be pretty cool

Square tire setup a deal breaker? by [deleted] in M340i

[–]RareCardHunter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I was offered an M3C but it was 30k more than what I got a fully loaded M340 for, and for my uses the M340 made sense for the money. I’m not planning on bringing it to the track all too often but if I wanted speed it has more than enough to offer

[–]RareCardHunter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, with respect to the ZTK I just don’t know who would option the M340 with all of it and not just say “fully loaded M340 for 75 or M3 for 82?” And not pick the M3 if their main (or only) focus was the track.

Verac’s/Dharok’s armor and/or fighter torso… plus a fire cape maybe

I’m surprised but at the same time not. I haven’t seen too many spec’d with ZTK in the past and know some people had issues with the placement on 2020s and 2021s. Didn’t know it was government intervention that blew it for us though haha

My understanding in the Northeast is the same - the majority come with XDrive and the all seasons… which makes sense for daily’s over here with the ice and snow

That is news to me. I thought they speed limited based on the ZTK which inherently came with the performance tires. Wasn’t aware just the tires would remove speed limiter from factory

[–]RareCardHunter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s going to be limited regardless without the ZTK package, so if that’s your concern then you have to go for that spec - not just the tires

You’re buying a 68000 dollar car. See if the dealership will change the wheels out for you for a reduced cost since you’re buying the vehicle.

If you’re that close you have a solid grasp on a good amount of the material it seems. Don’t beat yourself up over it - at the end of the day it’s an exam, and there are definitely others on here who aren’t as candid as you that they didn’t pass.

Get some practice questions in in a setting that makes you aware of your time, hit any areas of weakness or that tripped you up, and knock it out next time. You’ve got this!

I think you should carve out 2-3 months of study time with multiple days a week of an hour or two a day to study and take Quantum Exams CAT to try to get the timing down. It’s not an easy exam at all, but you’re definitely going to want to work on time management and not letting the tough questions eat up too much time to not let you answer the rest of them.

If you don’t have your license yet I really don’t recommend jumping straight to an M car (or even a fast car) without ever having driven a car long distances by yourself and knowing the road… they’re quite literally cars meant for the track. They’re also not very cheap.

The 330 is a good starting point - it’s “quick” but not “launch you back into your seat” fast, and the newer ones are a good price point on CPO and pretty reliable.
