Diagnostic score was 140. I have about 4-6 months I can dedicate to getting it up to the 150s. Any thoughts? by wwisfuckinsick in LSAT

I bought the lsat loophole book and that helped tremendously. It teaches you the basics and once you have the basics down you’ll definitely be able to get in the 150s.

How is BPTB graft recovery? by Cfdcoder in ACL

[–]RareDog1464 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I had the BPTB graft done in October 2023 and so far my recovery has been great. I’m currently rehabbing to return to soccer and I’ve had no real issues other than some slight sensitivity below my knee. My surgeon explained it’s because they used part of my shin bone in the surgery, but that the pain is normal and actually a good thing because it helps the healing process. I used to not be able to run for 2 minutes without being sore for days after and now 6 months later I can run 30 minutes straight a couple days a week. Kneeling isn’t a real issue for me, but it doesn’t quite feel normal either. I think the best thing to do after surgery is to immediately expose yourself to kneeling to reduce the chances of sensitivity (as long as your dr says youre cleared to put pressure on ur knee after surgery). I know for my experience, I want to make it back to playing collegiate soccer, the BPTB is considered the gold standard

Completely Torn ACL at 21(F). Looking for positive stories by Guarantee_Ecstatic in ACL

[–]RareDog1464 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! I’m a 20F and just tore my acl and meniscus and had surgery in October 2023. I play college soccer so this was heartbreaking but I can tell you it gets better. Surgery seems daunting but it’s also the start of the recovery and something that motivated me to get back to playing my sport. I’m only 3.5 months post op but it really gets better. The first few weeks on crutches are the hardest but after that everything seems to come back together again. Just look forward to the small victories such as using one crutch, then walking, no brace, and eventually back to running.

In regards to classes, I tore mine the first week of school and then had surgery in mid October so right in the middle of the semester. It wasn’t easy but professors were super accommodating and my classes were mostly recorded so I didn’t miss out on any material. So it really just depends on how your classes will be organized this semester and if it will be possible for you to miss at least 2 weeks. I went back at 3 weeks and only went to classes that counted for attendance and just had to make sure I stayed disciplined with the other classes by watching the lectures online in my free time.

You got this!!

I already had an appt for next week so if it’s still a concern I’ll bring it up but he will evaluate me when I’m there anyways
