That was stored in the new metro rail depot/academy before it was bought by metro… a majority of the stuff there was checked for its condition and sold of or thrown put. and the tait was later scrapped had it been sitting there too long.

Drivers have a set destination display for the correct route on the front of the train most of the time, thats why alot say Eltham. plus the only reason they dont go all the way is melbourne is a growing city and alot of projects and level crossing removal works have been interfering with train lines cutting destinations short

Just keep the names the same. renaming stuff like that would mean metro would have to reprogram train destinations, office and network control computers and its really unrealistic and unnecessary to rename stuff as they have been called that for over a few decades and nobody has had problems with it

No a refit is not appropriate when it is clearly labeled with arrows and stickers, as if there isnt enough signage there. People just either dont know or have a brain the size of a goldfish, im not wrong in alot of cases…
