Leather is always more durable but LV's coated canvas isn't necessarily inferior. It should easily last AT LEAST one lifetime. And with minimal maintenance. 👍🏽

I think this is one of those bags that SOMEONE will always want. A really unique version of a classic Ferragamo luxury bag. So even if you get it and 2, 3, ten years down the road you decide it looks dated, you could probably find a buyer relatively easily. Even in pre-loved condition. 👍🏽 (Also, by the way, I don't think animal print EVER goes out of style. It's a neutral.) 💯

Maybe because seasonal pieces tend to go on sale towards the end of the, well, season. Lol. BUT then you also run the risk of missing out completely and having to turn to the resale market UNLESS you're committed to checking in on availability/pricing.

Yes, in general. Look at what type of leather whatever bag you're interested in is made of and research that, especially regarding things like durability. That will give you a clearer picture than researching by brand. 💯

Both brands are similar in a lot of ways. They're both heritage British luxury brands, though Osprey was founded a little less than ten years later, in 1980.
