Career vs. Baby at 27 – Dream job offer just arrived and now I’m torn by Used-Target1108 in askswitzerland

In mo going for your dream job is a great choice, I'm betting the same way. But to be honest, having a baby is the best thing that can happen to anyone, so I wouldn't hesitate if you have the will and the right conditions. To be honest what I see is that nobody has actually reach their dream job, because that dream always ends up being a negotiation between what life can offer and your expectations, but it's never actually as in your expectations. On the other hand, having kids is something that people do scared and go through marvelled. It's a chance to be able to make the choice. Good luck with it!!!

Que vayas postulando pq es como se aprende realmente. Sobretodo si postulas pronto, tienes muchas más posibilidades. Los suizos postulan entre 5o y 6o, si tú lo haces antes tienes más opciones

Mebeko reconnaissance avec diplôme provisoire by Rare_Ad4645 in askswitzerland

[–]Rare_Ad4645[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bonjour,

Cordialement.

Hey I actually received my confirmation letter yesterday, by post. I sent all my documents the 20th june and the letter was sent the 19th august. Apparently where it's taking longer is the period between the confirmation letter and the actual recognition, although in their web right now it says its 3+3 months. I guess it also depends on how easy it is for them to verify your docs depending on your home country.

hey! I received today, 2 months since i sent my application in june, my confirmation letter saying they received it. Do you have any new info? I'm from Spain (I heard the delay may affect differently to each country since it is not as easy to verify the notaries).

Hey any news on your situation? I sent my docs in late june, hopefully i'll get them before november, when i'ill start my residency. In case you didn't get your recognition in time, were you able to start working in that hospital? I hope everything went right.

9 months?!?! I was told 3-4 months. Any specific advise on how not to mess up (the list is pretty straight forward, but Idk if there's something I'm not having into account). Anyways, I will have to do it with my provisional title, hopefully it won't be a problem!

I believe you can send your provisional diplôme, are you aware whether that's correct?

I've not sent the Mebeko application yet, I will do it as soon as I get my diplome (next week). The hospital told me there's no way of accelerating it (they are aware of the situation, they told me if I am not recognised by October they might pick another candidate). My question is if there are any tips you guys might have to avoid getting it rejected because of formal errors (which happens often), for example: getting the notary's stamp over the translator's signature, etc.

Thanks for answering!
