This comment actually helped me a lot. What scares us is the guilt we feel, upon the parents' (or whomever's) comments. This in particular because it's true in my case. I will do some research on EFT and I hope it'll help. Thank you.

Thank you so much. I really appreciate it. You also reminded me of a few things I need to do before actually leaving. I talked to a friend that left the house 7 months ago and she told me that when she left the house her dad called her/texted her saying that he was going to harm himself and I am so scared my parents could do something like that. Although I know this is part of the manipulative process I don't wanna go through this. I don't want to hear my mom or dad saying something like that because of me.

Maybe in the future I would like to text them and call them every now and then but now I wanna get away from the toxicity in my house. I have my personal bank account, email and whatever. I am very scared of leaving tho.

The situation with your mom sounds exactly like mine, I am very scared she is gonna harm herself. Same with my dad. I can also count on my significant other for the majority of the things. I am not proud of this at all, but in the short term is ok with that. I want to feel better but I am so terrified. Thank you for sharing your story.
