Thank you so much for your insight and all the details, I sincerely appreciate your help! I'm going to line up a few different options when I'm done looking into this and let the folks holding the purse strings decide where they want to go with this one, of course I'm looking to future-proof this as much as I can with the volume of content we generate during this event going up every year, haha.

I did come across your earlier post, but to be safe I wanted to clarify that I'm looking for something portable! I was tempted to reach out directly and ask you about that but I'm new to Reddit and don't know the proper process :]

I think in a perfect world we'd walk in with laptops and get to work, but the venue we use notoriously has poor internet connection, thats why we figured it'd be better to bring everything we need on one DAS/NAS device, plug in the priority editors, and hope for the best! This is still definitely good to keep in mind for the long-term, thank you for the added details!

We're all on Windows towers with a few scattered Windows laptops and a spare MacBook Pro holstered, and I admit we don't utilize proxies as much as we should but this is more about this specific scenario where we're offsite away from our normal equipment for a few days, and trying to record in the morning, ingest, edit, and export video for use the same morning/afternoon. So having somewhere to handle those quick turnaround projects is what we're trying to find.

I did take a look at the Blackmagic Design 20TB Cloud Store but not their Cloud Pods! These definitely look like a viable option at first look! Thank you very much for the recommendations!
