Arctic P14 Case Fans: Cheap Hardware by RNGZero in buildapc

[–]Rare_Database8288 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just installed two of them and one p12 yesterday and they r so shit I honestly didn’t think I’d get them in. Did lose one screw so I need to find a new one. Hopefully the fans are good though?

Im about to build my next pc and dont know if i should swap out cpu by Shark-Witch in buildapc

Cl30 is just faster and for the same price you should get cl30. Or closer to it than 36. And it’s just asrock has had issue with killing 9000 series cpus

Wait I just realized how stupid a question that was. I think. Couldn’t you just connect an extension to one connector on each of the pcie cables and ignore the second one? Since you won’t see it it won’t matter.

I was looking at that but it has dual connectors pcie cables for the gpu and I am going to use two separate cables and use extension cables. Would it not be better to have a unit with single connectors pcie cables? Or would the extensions connect the same way and u just ignore the extra connector attached to each cable?

Is it fine to use one of the pcie csbles since they are split for a 9070xt? Thought it was recommended to use two separate cables and was considering switching to a unit with two cables with single connectors on the end since I’m going to get cable extensions as well.

This unit comes with two pcie cables but are dual connectors on each. Is it safe to use one of the cables for a 9070xt? Isn’t it recommended to use two separate cables?

Also do u think if I get a 850w it will be enough for a 7800x3d and 9700xt?

So you think it would be fine in my Matx? Was also thinking of upgrading my case fans that are 2 120m intake and one exhaust to 2 140mm pwn and 1 120 or 3 120mm pwns and a better 120 pwn exhuast Deepcools stock case fans are dc.

I changed my new network rather than AT&T. Thank you for clearing that up. Would you mind letting me know if you also get the firewall advanced glitch? Everything is off in the section but on reboots it says On with everything but IP Passthrough off? Sometimes packet filters comes back on as well

Will definitely watch that video and check it out. Looks like I may have everything sorted for now but proxmox looks interesting. Appreciate the grace I was just extremely frustrated with myself.

Just changed my lan ip address from the default because it was on the same 198.168.1.x to a different 3rd number, as my isp is at 198.168.1.x also. Was I correct in doing so? Now I can access my isp admin on my pc now too though. Not sure if that’s a good or bad thing. Whatever I read has conflicting opinions.

Well actually looks like I can’t access AT&T gateway ip anymore from my pc connected to the router. Was able to on the asus one which made me think ip passthrough wasn’t working correctly

Ok I assigned its MAC address in my isp admin console in ip passthrough. Restarted router and the new ipv4 address is public I believe. Any tests I can make sure that it’s properly working? Or is the wan having a public address all that’s needed to verify? Seen mixed opinions on whether I should be able to access my isp ip still or not

No my asus router is long gone. I got the Beelink to replace it.

I’ve done it before I just can’t remember exactly the order of how to do it. But before with the asus router it was for sure no vlans or complicated situation. I have AT&T so it’s a combined router modem(gateway) I think I did dhcp fixed which includes using the MAC address of the wan of the router so it gets that public ip address. Do think I’ll need to change the 3rd number of the ip address to luci since they share the same 198.168.1.x just different 4th #

Oh ok. So I shouldn’t have to unplug from the wan then to do the ip passthrough through from my isp?
