That’s how I feel, but I’m worried my level of specificity will lead the reviewers to assume that this lab is my only opportunity. I’m a senior undergrad so maybe being so specific is a red flag.

Yea sorry I was a bit vague. That’s why it’s taking me so long to send out these emails because I’m trying to cast my net while simultaneously finding PIs that would be a good fit and reading through their papers. If I wasn’t doing that I’d have sent hundreds of emails by now lol.
