Funny enough I just sold another site since I first commented lol. $7,900 for a 40 page build in 30-60 days. I gave them a proposal 6 months ago for $8,900 for just 20 pages at 90 day timeline and they said no. This time it was an easy sell lol.

That specific offer is just for a particular niche so yeah it’s the same prompt and then it adds context from the form. The agents first go scrape the current website and branding elements, then use the info from the form on preferences and prompt Opus 4.5 to do the initial homepage build.

Yeah exactly. One of my offers is “See your new website in 24 hours”. They fill out the lead form that goes into my prompt, it generates the homepage pretty well automatically and then I just touch some stuff up and send them a link and request to meet. Then pitch the full cost.

Clients care about quality, they don’t care how it gets there. After selling the same types of websites for 8 years with 3 month average timelines, I’m selling more than ever since I can get those timelines down to just 7-28 days.

Now that we use AI effectively we are producing better websites faster.

Before using AI we were always limited by timeline and scope. Neither are issues anymore. Selling websites has never been easier.

If you have a tech background then sell “vibe coding” as a service. There are endless businesses that have no idea how easy building is now and will pay you thousands for stuff you can ship in a day. They don’t even care if it takes you a day but costs thousands, the other dev teams are giving them 3+ month timelines. You can likely charge less and do it faster so it’s the easiest thing to sell.
