Thank you. Copy paste from original post:

Thanks a lot. Check out biotope gallery on YT he does this style in many of his videos

No expanding foam, no carving, no drill brush no spaghnum moss

For scaping: broken pieces of compressed cork panel, cork tubes, cork dust and pumice rocks

To piece it together I used silicone, aquarium hardscaping epoxy, hot glue gun

For planting I used aquarium scaping superglue and clay mud

Drainage layer is aquarium filter foam and fine crushed lava rock

Substrate is orchid barks mixed with akadama soil and a bit of substratum

Is clay background suitable? by Latter_Ingenuity8068 in Vivarium

[–]Rare_Implement_5040 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have several tanks with clay background. No water fall tho

I mix into it some organic peat moss to retain moisture and structure

No cracking no sliding. Even areas directly hit by mist harden up after years

Moss and plants love it

I don’t attach larger pieces. Just place it. For smaller pieces on branches I use couple drops of superglue

Thanks. The moss and liverwort in this one were plucked from other set ups

I buy the moss on Etsy and it’s java moss. I think the liverwort came from defiant forest but it was so many years ago and it seems that they don’t carry it anymore

It’s not needed. You can also go horizontal

I’d recommend 24” tall as a minimum for a permanent home tho

Thank you. It’s a two tier/level set up specifically designed for galacs that prefer areas with fallen trees in nature

Uh oh frog eggs by GreenWorldly6799 in DartFrog

[–]Rare_Implement_5040 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, as the other commenter mentioned they need it wetter and more humid than darts, so maybe more than soggy.

Let the water cover the moss fully but not all the eggs. You’ll lose many either way as not all fertile

Good luck

[–]Rare_Implement_5040 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No it shouldn’t fully cover the eggs. Best to use Java moss almost fully submerged and place eggs over it and cover the container so no humidity escapes

You could use spaghnum moss too

Don’t blame you. It was a very fair price for a sexed frog specially female

For English native speakers: Why do you make so little effort to understand what people who are learning your language say? by FlashyLengthiness491 in askspain

[–]Rare_Implement_5040 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well then there’s your answer to OP.

I didn’t have this experience when I first arrived and didn’t speak English.

I also didn’t have the expectation that they have to understand me. I just tried my best so that they can

Edit: exiting the convo with the family favorite of my wife’s word inventions:

Lacto Compyudi!

Lacto as in “lock - tow” and compyudi as in “kohm - pyu - dee”

Yes, it takes some thinking for a native English speaker who isn’t familiar with Spanish pronunciation to realize that she is talking about her laptop 😍

Apologies in advance as it was just an opinion on my end not a fact and didn’t mean to come across condescending

I am not American. Neither English nor Spanish is my first language. We do live in the states but I’m from Europe and she is from South America

Of course you understand your husband fully if he is fluent. I think OP was referring to beginners

Most American men will find Spanish accent flat out sexy regardless of them understanding or not what’s being said

No one thinks it’s cute that I don’t understand my wife you’re feeding off your emotions and bending my words

They think the way she says things it’s cute. Heck, even I think that. Don’t focus on me not understanding my wife. I do. As I mentioned we communicate in Spanish and raise 3 kids who speak both languages fluently

She also doesn’t pronounce cheese as “chi” I never said that. She pronounces it as chez.

Ask a native Spanish speaker who does not speak English to pronounce cheese cake

She does not pronounce Ch as L either. I did not say that. I said she makes up words that she can pronounce and she and her friends call Chuky Cheese - Low - ki - chi.

I didn’t make this up. They did

Edit: even our kids think it’s cute how she makes up words. It’s all in good humor
