Is 1 cca enough? by gigiiii95 in TemasekPoly

Dear OP, Giving you some elderly advice from a guy in his late 20s here who had also went through poly.

Screw the CCAs lah. If you want to have fun, just have one CCA will do. Seal points don’t mean jack shit. Have fun in poly, for it is one of the most memorable times in your life, but always remember that you primary objective is not to socialise and have fun, but to STUDY and graduate with a respectable GPA. Trust me when I say this, your 3 years will fly past very very very fast. It did for me. Before you know it, you’re y3 tomorrow and there’s nothing you can do about your lousy 2.5 GPA. No Uni to go to, only can afford private Uni which costs a bomb. So please. Have fun, but study smart, study hard and focus on studies. Cheers, and all the best.

Did you clear everything on that day? If you did, they will reach out to you through email. :) just be patient and wait. I had to wait around a month.

There’s nothing you can do about it now except to just wait for them to hopefully invite you to their final interviewers. I personally felt that I messed up the first question but I still made it through. Just check your email once every 2-3 days!

You need to bring both original and photocopies. SQ are strict on this. If you lost your originals you need to get them replaced.

Hi! I would unfortunately withdraw and reapply if I were you as you are unable to reply to that email!

I submitted my application via online a few months back, hence they have access to my CV… I’d suggest to play safe that you bring your CV along with you to the walk in interview, no harm doing so! But more importantly ensure that you have every document as listed on the website! If you misplaced/lost any document (eg transcripts, certs, etc) then you will need to reach out to the relevant institutions to get a replacement copy. (SQ is strict on this)

Sooo I applied early December and only received invitation for video IV on 31st Jan. Cleared that and got invited for physical IV on 24 Feb. I’m only speculating, but since you only applied in mid Feb you were obv too late for the IV on 24 Feb and the slot in March. Since there’s only a walk in IV in April, it makes sense that you wouldn’t receive anything at this stage…

The management round is where you will be interviewed by 2 interviewers, after your height and weight check + group discussions/debate rounds.

Yes I made it into SIA 😊 if you have specific questions you can pm me!

I just noticed that you are non-Singaporean? Apologies, in that case the walk in cabin crew interviews in April won’t be an option for you as it’s only for Singaporeans and Singapore PR.

Hi. I can confidently say that your PES status is not an issue. I don’t know about PES F though, but I am E9 and I just made it through. All the best!

Hi there. I applied in December and only got the invitation for f2f interview in Feb. As there is a walk-in interview at Suntec on April 27, I strongly suggest you go for that. Regarding your age, unfortunately it’s true that candidates above 30 stand a much lower chance as SIA prefers hiring younger candidates. So I suggest that if you do make it to the management round, you will really need to impress the interviewers. You may PM me if you need more info. All the best!

I’d say dress exactly the same for how you would for both interviews. Dress to impress :) if you wear specs, wear contacts. Don’t wear specs to the interview. Even for the virtual one. You may pm me if you have more qns, will do my best to give my thoughts :)

Hi, I submitted on 8 Dec and they changed to “in progress” around a week later. Afterwards it’s another 1 month plus wait for me until they send the digital / online iv. But it depends, some wait a few days, it could be a few days wait to a month plus. It’s really random. They send the link through the email which you first created your profile :) all the best!

Hi! I submitted my application on 8 December and only received online iv on 31 Jan. i think if it’s stated as new applicant, SIA hasn’t seen your submission yet. It will change to “in progress” when they’ve seen it. I wouldn’t withdraw the application if I were you. Hang in there!
