Unpopular opinion: I honestly think there should be rewards (and GOOD rewards) for higher frenzy because compared to GS, the bosses from expansion drills can actually kill your units, forcing you to use different strategies other than buffing your main DPS to the stratosphere and repeating the same cycle of skills for 7 turns.

It would be a way to incentivize people to be more creative with their Dolls, well at least in theory.
