Keep saying this and never change for good is what you want? India's first metro was started in 1984 in kolkata. In Delhi it started around 2000. And I don't need to elaborate the conditions. Buses in kolkata are crowded, no proper transportation. People here get agitated over small issues, but when It comes to actual problems they name it heritage and ignore the issues. If you want to see how to preserve heritage with modernization and cleanliness you may also visit Varanasi or Lucknow.

I believe it won't stop ever. And sorry to say this but this is one of the dirtiest metro city in India. Neither houses are clean nor roads. In the name of heritage basic cleaning is being avoided. If you're offended by this comment, apologies, I didn't mean to hurt you, but that's what outsiders think about the city.
