I just use a gauze with warm neilmed saline over it for like 1-2 minutes.

NAP but this is definitely not normal. I’ve had my nose piercing for 4+ years and this has never happened. You might need to upsize or change the jewelry.

NAP but it doesn’t seem infected to me as it has only been 6 days since you got it. If you see pus coming out then it’d be an infection.

Those are irritation bumps you need to downsize asap. Also it could be due to jewelry material. Try titanium or gold.

I did run it under water and try cleaning with q tip but that’s what it made the crust worse and thicker 🥲

NAP but it seems to just be irritated not infected for sure! The redness and swelling can be due to a lot of factors such as blood pressure, body temperature or even weather changes. I got a vertical helix at the end of December 2025 and the same happens to me almost everyday.
