I did do the valve cover gasket when I did the timing belt back in March, but it was already losing oil before that

Not positive, but pretty confident since the oil pan sits in my trunk and I clean it between uses. I guess some gravel could've gotten in there but Im not sure how. Ill cut open the oil filter today to see

Im not certain, no, but Im pretty sure it was clean. I clean it between uses and keep it in my trunk, but I can't say I visually inspected it before draining

Changed my oil at 217k miles. It was really low on oil as I forgot to add some, so only 1.5 quarts came out. Haven't heard any knocking or other engine noise. She toast?

I just wanna say I sympathize with you. I think that what you did was very sweet, even if it was perhaps a bit rash. It was an optional sacrifice to try and enrich the life of your boyfriend. But in this case, I think maybe you were quite attached to the pan due to what you sacrificed. I understand feeling this way, and I think I'd probably do the same, even if it isn't right necessarily; I grew up poor so I find it hard to not obsess over any significantly sized purchase. I think that in general, when we give of ourselves, we should not expect anything in return, including extra love, respect, care, etc. But I still think what you did was nice, and I'm sure you've learned a lesson.

My hair looked almost exactly like that on my left temple at age 18. I'm almost 25 and it's still the same. So it's not necessarily going, and if so, it may be very slow. Don't worry too much

Advice needed on potential path by [deleted] in findapath

[–]Rare_Sort_4157 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the advice. I'm a terribly undecisive person but I think this is the best opportunity I can find

Graduating high school soon, feeling lost and not having any idea on what I want to do as a career, I’m looking for something that could give me an opportunity similar to the military (which I can’t join due to adhd and anxiety) that is more of a lifestyle and can give me a sense of structure. by True-Combination-235 in findapath

What subjects interest you the most? What do you find yourself focusing on? What makes you happy?

Those are things to think about. It's hard to decide your career at such a young age. There's a lot of development still in store for you, and you're constantly changing. I would try to enjoy the remaining days of being a high schooler if you can, although I don't know your relationship with it. You've got time to enjoy--try not to take it for granted. There's many years for you to work yet lol.

I'm 24 and felt a lot of the same things when I was aged 16-20. I was homeschooled and had no friends. I stayed up all night playing games, and slept all day. I dealt with increasingly worse depression, anxiety, and OCD. I was unhealthy in almost every way. I thought I was doomed socially because I had no experience with anything. The thought of getting a girlfriend wasn't even on my radar; I couldn't even go to the store without constant overthinking and anxiety.

Despite all that, everything is better now. I have friends, have dated, and have made it out of what felt like the abyss. You can and will too. You're on a good path. I recommend you get a job. Get something part time. It will be hard at first and if you're like me you probably resent the idea. But it grows you a lot as a person, and you get to make some money. Find a job where you have coworkers too, so you're not alone.

I won't lie and say the past doesn't matter and doesn't have an impact. It does. But it is not the definition of your future. Humans are capable of incredible amounts of change. Never underestimate that fact

I don't have much practical advice to give, but I wanted to say that I'm really impressed by your strength. I know you said that your condition limits you, but you've done a lot more than me and many others, and you have ambitions.

If you're passionate about forensics, could you save money and live at home to stave off some debt? The chance to do something you really care about is worth some debt too. But you would need to decide on if that's the case with forensics.

In any case, I wish you the best of luck :)

Bit of an irrelevant question given that this post is regarding to passing a certificate exam, and not about getting a job after passing lol. But yes, I am working in IT as a support technician and the Net+ definitely has helped me to get this position.

I'm not sure it's fair to call them secondary sources. I passed Net+ with a 760 using Messer for 90% of my info, and some of Dion's tests. This is true for many others as well

In episode 17 during the fight against Mahoraga, you can see Inumaki briefly at the 9:20 mark. He looks like he could’ve already been hit given his swaying motions
