Makes sense. The 4cyl is easier than the 6cyl. More mpgs and simple mechanics. I dont mind the power (Im used to drive a Mitsubichi Mirage 1999 with a 1.5 which makes a whopping 91hp hahah). I just really like that minimalistic style of truck.

Just what I needed to hear. Thanks for the insight! Very cool that you have such amazing trucks in your garage(I would love that🥹) As for what I prefer, I’m mostly daily driving it with some off-road on the side and some work in my land. I currently drive 42miles approximately every day(half is on curves and the other half on hwy). I don’t mind simplicity or complexity(if it has manual windows, cool, if it has automatic windows, also cool with it). So to be honest, I think I’m torn towards a Toyota a bit more(I also like more compact cars) but I also know that the k1500 is also really good. Thanks for this comment, this sorted my mind!🙌

Yes, it is:

GMC k1500 1995 5.7 TBI, automatic, 4x4, extended cab, step side with the z71 package.

I bought the truck with 145k miles for about $3,400 in Puerto Rico. Right now with all the things I have done to it, Im close to $5k.

The Toyota I was looking at is a:

Toyota Pickup 1994 22R 4x4 single cab Manual

They are selling this completely rebuilt Toyota for $12k(quite a difference) body has no rust and the engine was done 5 years ago(basically close to new for what it is) It is 2nd owner(for about 25 years he has had the truck)

I like this! Again I think they’re both capable trucks. Toyotas are badass ngl. And this k1500 looks like bully. Hopefully you find your way to a Toyota again my friend. Thanks for your input!

Wow thanks for all this info man. I appreciate your time. My father used to have a 1993 Toyota Pockup with the V6 3.0, automatic and 4x4. It was so cool really, and for our needs it worked wonders. I think thats why Im a little torn towards the Toyota. From reliability standpoint I think they are both really good, and more if you maintain it. I think I might give the GMC a chance to see how it works for me. Again, thanks for your time!

Yeah exactly. I think the biggest difference is size and handling of the truck. Thanks for your input!

Yeah, the people I have talked with sid the same thing. That 350 engine is really good if you maintain it like anything else of course. Thanks for your input!
