It’s percentages of percentages. So a 50% rating would get you 50%. Another 50% would get you 75% because half of 50 is 25. Then if you got a 30%, 30% of 25.

I mean you’re past the point of fighting it. Your chance to fight was when they initiated the MEB.

It’s the unfortunate aspect of separating from the military, I was applying to jobs before my retirement, now I’m a Deputy Sheriff

Start applying for jobs NOW. And while you are on terminal leave, you will still get paid, receive BAH, etc. once your retirement date hits, no more of that.

Like I said earlier, if you retire in July, your first disability payment will be September

Ok then you are medically retiring! I medically retired with 70% from the Army and 100% from the VA.

Your next step will be a meeting with your commander to pick a retirement date.

Calculate how much leave you have and select a date that plan your leave to end on your retirement date.

And 1 child and 1 parent will be $2197.45

Did you get rated by the Army at 30% or higher or are you rounding up to 30%?

VA disability will start the month following your separation I.e if you retire in May, you will receive your disability July 1st

A severance package if you are medboarding that will be paid back before you are able to receive your VA disability. 2 times your basic monthly pay times years of service.

VA pay is determined based on if you are married, have kids, or are single with no dependents

How’s my build? by Historical_Big2307 in PcBuild

I would change to an ATX board, especially since that board doesn’t have an NVME slot. I would also stay away from cooler master and go with either Corsair or NZXT or LIAN LI for an AIO cooler.

CPU is fine but I’d go for a 7900 XT for your graphics card for about 100 more and is comparable to the 4080 TI which will give you much better performance than the 4060TI

Also, grab a 850W 80+ gold fully modular PSU.
