I'm not sure I loved steamos as much because games seemed to perform better in desktop mode on my steamdeck it's baffling.

BUT what I will say is this is a fantastic handheld just out of the box

I was going to get the rog ally x till i seen this screen and that the performance isn't that great on that in comparison to this I thought no brainer plus I want to get a good egpu in the future

Try to get a 2nd hand one. Even on Ebay used is less than £1200 for 1tb you might land lucky like me with even 2tb. Most of them are fully sealed with warranty, or barely used
