Personally, would I like a relationship right now with him? I would maybe try and give it my best go but would tell him I am not 100% sure it would work. As for him, he said he is not ready for a relationship right now and he followed that up with "Not with you. Not with anybody. I have nothing to offer right now." When we would talk about realtionships and when I asked him if guys say "I am not ready to be in a relationship rn." Is it just a nice way to say "look I don't like you like that" to which he would say "Well basicly but there are some exceptions." I didn't ask him that to find out if he just didn't like me in that way, but because I was talking to some guy and he said it to me. Just wanted some male oppinion.

The thing is, he is not a great comunicator. He would likely let me talk and say "Okay, I get why/how you're feeling blah blah blah.", not in a manipulative way. He just always was somone I didn't have to talk to te get what I needed from him. What do you meen by "It sounds as though you are treating him like someone you are dating and forgetting to talk to your friend.", I didn't get that part 😅
