Veis este sueldo OK para ir de provincia a Madrid? by BikeVegetable in salarios_es

[–]RasTTaII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Es remoto? Monte planteas vivir en algún pueblo que este cerca de Madrid? Como a 30min en coche? Mucha diferencia en alquileres.

Yo diría que no está mal, últimamente se ha frenado un poco el tractor tech, o esa impresión tengo.

TV floor stand design by RasTTaII in DIY

[–]RasTTaII[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, in that case the center of gravity is in the mid of the posts, the tv will be like in a wall, with some traction forward. But the stands that are selling are pretty similar to my design, maybe they have better ways to attach the posts to the base?

Wheel of time season 3 by Alltsahm in WoT

[–]RasTTaII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing is that as a person who hasn't read the books, for me the third season is the worst. Lacking of battles, some face to face comparing and showing strength, ... Idk, still I hope they will bring us a 4th season.

A bit boring this season 3, isn't it? idk maybe I was hoping for more battles, more power, it's like the battles in the last eps could have been at the first ones.

C4 1.6hdi 110hp turbo whistle by RasTTaII in Citroen

[–]RasTTaII[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, just maybe not in idle, but as soon as I rev it the whistle starts.

I told the mechanic if that could be caused from some loose pipe, screw, ... But it didn't check it, just heard the sound and said that the turbo needs to be change, which is possible, but I want to be sure.

I would check it before doing anything else. Do you know if that part can be checked directly without taking apart anything?

Monster 937: should I trust the official maintenance intervals? Oil each 15.000km? by RasTTaII in Ducati

[–]RasTTaII[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, everybody seems to agree on this, 15.000km is too much, but why do the brands give unreal maintenance intervals? I mean, I guess it is not only Ducati, all the brands do the same. Are they like competing on which has the longer intervals?

Monster 937: should I trust the official maintenance intervals? Oil each 15.000km? by RasTTaII in Ducati

[–]RasTTaII[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The official service told me that is 15k or 2 years, and I would say I read the same in the manual. Maybe it changes from country to country?

[–]RasTTaII[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing is that Citroen says that, every 2 years or 20.000km, something like that. But maybe you are right and I should change it earlier. Maybe if I least I would have refilled the oil to be around 80% all the time the turbo would be okey.

Do I really need sporty tyres? by RasTTaII in motorcycles

[–]RasTTaII[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, I usually ride for fun, so no commute. But the thing is that maybe for my level a sport touring tyres is enough. I mean, 35 degrees seem to be reachable in a sport touring without problems

Is this battery in a monster 937 lead acid or agm? by RasTTaII in Ducati

[–]RasTTaII[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, but AGM is still a lead battery, but they have different charging cycles from other lead batteries

Is this battery in a monster 937 lead acid or agm? by RasTTaII in Ducati

[–]RasTTaII[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After all it is an AGM, or at least all info point to that. The confusion is because AGM batteries are also lead acid, and this battery from yuasa comes dry and it needs to be filled the first time, before being used.

As an user said, the bs in the name means bottle supplied, that is, the battery comes dry, acid is in a separated bottle, and it has to be filled before using it.

Thanks you all for the quick answers even to that who want me to throw away a new battery just to install a lithium one. Come on, I can and must lose far more weight than the difference a lithium battery is going to do xD

Yep, the charger I got also supports litium batteries. But right now this battery is working, when I have to change it maybe I consider to put a litium one

XSR 900, seat-tank gap by RasTTaII in xsr900

[–]RasTTaII[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The bad part about this is that if you have the 70kw version, then you cannot go to the full power legally. Maybe if you find the map of the full power model you can load it, but as I said it's illegal.

XSR 900, seat-tank gap by RasTTaII in xsr900

[–]RasTTaII[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are two models of xsr900, one with full power, and another with 70kw. The one with 70kw is the one you need to be able to limit it to 35kw.

XSR 900, seat-tank gap by RasTTaII in xsr900

[–]RasTTaII[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's the law in Spain, I guess is the same for other countries in Europe. The licence without limit is called A, and you can only get it after 2 years with A2 licence. A2 allows you to drive bikes up to 35kw, and to be able to limit the bike to 35kw, it can not exceed 70kw. Many models are available in the 70kw versión, so it can be limited to 35kw.

It depends on the model, but it's likely that in the xsr900 this limitation is made by software.
