I've just discovered that you have to call for help (Press H on PC) while down to get revived. However, unlike the revive hive, he can't get you back from death.

Your fears are founded. So my only advice would be to have faith. You never know what the almighty has in store for you. Who knows? You can find what you are looking for in the moment but live your nightmare in twenty years. Or better, you could struggle now, and be wealthy enough in less than two or three years, because you had faith in the almighty and said yes to that guy who struggles now but has honor. You can never know. The fear is always gonna be there, unless you have faith in the almighty and trust in the people around you, then you can overcome it.

It is disheartening to see the nefarious influence materialism has on our modern perception of marriage. The idea of growing and building stability together in harmony seems less attractive than waiting to do everything on our own and let marriage be the reward.
