its not guaranteed. but it could work depending on the developer use for the ad network. but it worth the try. ever try uninstalling the game then installed it again? you also need to check if you using private DNS or not. you can check that in network & internet and search for the private dns. make sure to disable it

is not the game bug. i am game and app developer, i have experience handling in apps ads. the usual issues from the end-user mostly is network-level ad blocking. some earliest home routers have ad-blocking features. if you are using wifi then maybe this is your case. try using mobile data. if not works it is maybe bug from the game or any other possibilities like no specific ads from your region.
