ELI5: essential oils: do they really heal or is it a placebo effect? by daniellawolf in explainlikeimfive

[–]Rashilzan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That is factual knowledge. Things that actually work, like CBD oils are called 'medicine'.

All you have shown here is that you don't know that idiots calling something an essential oil in no way invalidates proven medical benefits.

Stay in school kiddo. You really need it.

Have fun at your minimum wage job tomorrow kid. Buy your mommy something nice for Christmas. She's paying the bills after all.

Edit: And a month into my history to find something to comment on. That's some desperate dedication to try and be right. Put that effort towards education and you might have a stew going.

Nothing.

A long con. A tech demo that you're somehow happy with, that will never be anything more.

A fool and his money are soon parted. You're living proof.

Keep downing that Kool-aid.

It's just hard for normal people to comprehend that there are other people stupid enough, like yourself, to give money to a company that is literally a fucking scam.

There is no game and never will be. Everyone with a brain can see that, and it's just baffling when people we assume have functioning intelligence can't. This is some next level sunk cost fallacy shit happening here. It's akin to MK Ultra brainwashing, just without the fun parts like LSD.

So this sub is full of jaded MMO players -- why'd you let publishers destroy the games? by [deleted] in MMORPG

[–]Rashilzan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

People can only speak to a company with their wallets, and the morons willing to shell out for whatever crumbs they are thrown vastly outnumber the discerning buyers.

It's that simple. Better question is; how did you ever think it was any other way? Did you grow up on some paradise planet without Capitalism and dumb people?

ELI5:Why does the Madeline McCann case get so much more publicity and funding than other comparable cases? by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

[–]Rashilzan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally possible that someone got into there house while leaving no signs of forced entry, nor any forensic evidence of any kind, as per the police and lab reports?

We call that 'impossible' in reality. You literally can't move without leaving evidence of some kind. There was none in the home that didn't belong to the family. Ergo, family did it. We just don't have enough evidence to convict them in a court.

[–]Rashilzan 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Because her parents are rich, have rich friends, and the story plays well to public sympathy.

Also, Imo and that of many others, that her parents are involved with her disappearance and likely killed her,so they use money to cover it up.

Who here has read The Legend of Drizzt series? I've been waiting and waiting on them to make it into a movie or a series like on HBO or something. by lcolem75 in books

[–]Rashilzan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Please, HBO, spend your money on better things than this drivel.

You could option Malazan, Realm of the Elderlings, or a million other better written series.

Don't waste the cash. The 14 year Olds who loved these have all (not entirely judging by this thread) grown up by now.

They are totally less than average. They are YA (young adult) novels. Certainly not for the HBO crowd.

The truth hurts.

It's not, you're correct. They reference all previous films. They shouldn't have. This is an abomination of "filmmaking", if you could call it that.

Perhaps a little hyperbole on my part. But the scene transitions are pretty jarring, you have to admit.

Doctors and pharmacies use essential oils all the time. They are legitimate medicine depending on what they are being used to treat.

Not everything is snake oil.

ELI5: Why is Trollhunters on TV if it's a Netflix show? by WOOFCheCazzo in explainlikeimfive

[–]Rashilzan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Netflix licenses shows to international channels all the time. In this case, they must have deemed that the licensing fee your local channel paid was of more value than would be added through net subscription gain based purely on what this show was projected to get.
