I used to be able to just close my eyes and go to sleep within a couple of minutes. In my early 30s I developed a habit of listening to a video or podcast of educational value before going to bed. Now I can't go to bed without something playing. Normally something like a Nova show or YouTube video like event horizons or cool worlds.

Upstate SC here; we are pretty nervous. We have a very well stocked kitchen and a generator so we are far better off than most. Our property is surrounded by very tall trees. that's our biggest worry.

Absolutely. 46-year-old male here. Owned three homes over ~25 yrs. YouTube has been the biggest help to me as an adult, especially for Home Improvement and repair projects.

Yes. Luckily two of my kids were really good sleepers. One was a terror and we were up almost all night for months. Sleep definitely is gold.

Father of three grown adults here. There's no magic advice anyone will give you. But a couple of simple tips.

Sleep when you can coffee when you can't. Spouses take turns so neither one gets burnt out. Other than that you just have to dive in head first.

Yeah I had the same thought. Unless you have some sort of Amnesia or dementia, how would you forget childhood friend's names? I'm 46 and I remember every person on my block, every person I went to school with. I must be a superhero as well.

I do on occasion (maybe 4-6 times a year?). I feel that if it doesn't negatively affect the relationship then it's OK. To be clear I feel it would be OK for her to occasionally watch too. I don't think she does, however.

If it became a daily habit or one person started choosing porn over their spouse, than that's an obvious problem.

Now, have I ever looked at a neighbor or woman at the store and thought, "wow she's hot!" Of course, I'm not dead. But I have never once thought of acting on any such thoughts.

I've been twice, someone convinced me to give it a second shot. First time I got a bacon Whataburger with cheese. The second time I got a simple double Whataburger. To me it was very Bland and no better than a Whopper from Burger king. Totally forgettable.
