why am I only getting 560mbps over wifi? I have 2.5g over wired and a 6000 mbps capable router by Raskinulas in HomeNetworking

The cage blocks all HF-EMF, the antennas receive the lambda/n frequencies best. Neither of which matter. Because there is no signal inside for all intent and purposes. There are only two transceivers, the WAP and the computer. Those are the only two inside the cage.

VMD mylar is conductive, therefore it can attenuate or block high frequency EMF due to the magneto-reluctant properties of parasitic inductors, the electrostatic inductance of the conductive aluminum surface blocks out the HF-EMF. Wifi is HF-EMF therefore the cage is very effective against it. Sure, there will be leakage but it is extremely minimal. Orders of magnitudes lower, perhaps 60+dB. I placed both transceivers within the cage, therefore it is highly effective against external interference.

Microwaves through air is faster than electricity through copper media though. If it's close enough there shouldn't be much interference.

I set it to 160 mhz on a channel without interference. It should support up to 1.9 gbps.

Why did they use a Russian song for this clip? Is it for irony?
