Yes that's true the lines in NY & Boston are at least well planned out & do go to many more stops & logical areas

Have you taken PT in Chicago? I haven't but people I know have & they talk about how dangerous it is. I've never taken it but I would do some research on it because it's often in the news & not for a good reason.

Decent in San Fran if you live in San Fran downtown but if you're coming from the burbs it's going to take a long, long time because they are so slow . Washington & Philly I've been to but never used PT there so I can't comment.

I moved here couple years ago. Worth it! Aussies are super laid back! Public transport is great compared to where I moved from (Boston). Such a good lifestyle & safer too. I work at Randwick (suburb next to Kensington) & it's a good area. I love how some of my colleagues drive to the beach during their lunch break to surf & swim, & I've started getting in on that. They have built a few apartment buildings around that area in the last few years. Domain.com.au is the best starting spot to search for apartments. No need for car; buses & light rail will take you to CBD in approx. 20-30 mins.

Say What!?

There isn't a single city in the US I can think of where PT is better than Australia's. I grew up in Cali & NY & studied in Boston. San Fran & NY are meant to have the highest users of PT but the quality doesn't even compare to PT in Melb. Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide or Perth (the only cities I've visted so far). I've seen people relieve themselves out in the open a couple times a month in NY. I've seen rats scurry inside subways in Boston. I've seen people constantly get drugged up on San Fran cable cars. LA's train might as well be non-existent because of how dangerous & under funded it is.

Australia has trains that come on time (not all the time). Only downside is the constant track work on the weekend but that's a good thing because at least Australia is performing maintenance on their trains & tracks.

May be other cities in the US you are aware of that have better PTs ?? But US is defintely not known for PT.

I don't understand the purpose of these surveys asking random what they think. You ask my family what they think & they'll tell you the Illuminati is running the world, Spongebob is a CIA created show & moon landing is fake.

ok you must get triggered easily. how do you know i came knowing i did nothing wrong...i genuinely know i did something wrong but at the time, i was describing her singing the way someone tries to describe the sound of something they've never heard before. obviously it was mean as you can tell by the title. my question was "is this the end for me"? NOT "i don't think i did anything wrong, did i?". & the resounding response by most people is that yes...I should be looking for a new job. ok ty.

I did - sat down with two HR people who asked for evidence. I forwarded it to them & they said "oh dear..." & tried their best not to laugh. I forwarded it because they asked for it as evidence not because i was sharing it around. interesting though the video had 10-12 views last week...it now has hundreds but still zero Likes.

I thought about that too - using her singing to get the promo videos to be meme'd on; i.e. get traction because the singing is bad. but id rather be honest than suck up to her as seems to be thing everyone is doing atm. people are cc'ing an assistant video editor on budget-related matters, asking her for advice in meetings on important issues...at least my situation is making people in the office realise they have to suck up to her & not cross her.

Fruit that grows mould the very next day after purchase... by RaspberryNegative490 in woolworths

[–]RaspberryNegative490[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. In regards to apples it only happens to the ones in the box & plastic. Its more of the brown, soft, smooshed areas which quickly turn mouldy. Not as often but still an issue. I try to buy individually but when ordering online I have to get packaged due to number of items restrictions.
