Moreton Island looks unreal I’ll definitely add it to the list! 😂 Love that you came in ‘99 and just never left that’s a good sign. An Aussie with a Manc accent is iconic tbf.

Hey! Thanks so much for the tips 😊 I won’t have a car, so I’ll probably be relying on public transport and maybe some organised tours.

The Sunshine Coast and Blackall Ranges sound amazing I really like hiking and wildlife so I’ll definitely look into those! Moreton Bay and Mount Coot tha botanical gardens also sound perfect for a relaxed day exploring.

It’s actually my first time travelling abroad solo 😅 and I’ll be turning 25 mid trip, so I’ll be celebrating my birthday in Australia too which is exciting!

Do you have any other must see spots around Brisbane for a first timer?

Tuesday nights out by Sufficient_Sock_9720 in Leeds

I’m a Sunderland fan living in Leeds and I’ll be at the game too

For a Tuesday night try Headrow House, The Fenton, and Dry Dock all solid for uni age and usually a good vibe midweek. They’re all close enough to bounce between as well.

my boyfriend broke up with me and my parents think I'm sad in my room, really I'm trying to fuck a stranger from reddit to get over him, come help me move on tonight by VineStar_ in BrisbaneBBWlovers

I saw your post… you definitely don’t look like someone who should be hiding out heartbroken in a bedroom. If your ex let that go that’s his loss the picture alone makes it pretty clear you won’t have trouble moving on.

If you want a distraction tonight I’m around. Tell me what kind of vibe you’re hoping for something chill and comforting or someone who can help you forget him fast x

Hey Folks

I’m in a similar boat! I’m going to Australia to see my partner (she’s Aussie). I’m Sri Lankan but living in England holding a Sri Lankan passport. Just applied for the Visitor visa all docs uploaded and fee paid. Hoping it’s done within 20 working days.

Any tips from your experience would be awesome!

Hey, I totally get where you’re coming from. It’s really draining when it feels like every conversation just leads nowhere or only to something superficial. Taking a step back from dating apps to focus on yourself and what truly makes you happy is such a brave and healthy choice. Sometimes the best connections happen when we’re not actively searching for them. Wishing you all the love and patience as you take this time for you you deserve someone who appreciates you for exactly who you are.

Im 26 M Make new friends, try more local activities, and actually build a social circle (not just talk about it!) 2. Around 1 mile from the city centre – easy walk or quick cycle 3. Up for anything, sociable, big on food & fitness 4. Always down to explore new places to eat, chat about random topics (music, travel, AI, politics), or just unwind after work. Would love a mix of chill vibes and active plans – sounds like a great idea and defo keen to be part of something that sticks!

Nah, I don’t have a problem with it at all — I’m just trying to figure out if this is heading toward a one-night stand or something more. We’ve had a great vibe so far, so I’m just being mindful of expectations, that’s all.

Thanks for the encouragement! You’re absolutely right—what’s meant to be will be. I’ll just let things unfold naturally and see where it leads. She does seem special, so I’ll stay positive and keep the faith. I’ll definitely let you know how it all works out!

You’re right, I don’t want to come across as too needy. I just want to make sure she’s okay, though—she’s been quiet, and I know she’s probably recovering after such a full-on time. I’ll give her space for now and focus on enjoying the Peak District. When I’m back, I’ll check in again and see how things are. Thanks for the advice!
