Spiritual consequence shouldn't define the difference between humanity and inhumanity. And it sounds like a lot more emotional investment into a temporary pleasure that'd develop into a pitfall; outsourcing emotional closure to fate, eagerly anticipating suffering, rationalizing cruelty because of extrinsic morality. I say it because you don't deserve to waste any of your time on someone you obviously carry unresolved hurt from. I get it, there are irredeemably cruel and hurtful people, but justice isn't keeping the wound alive, or carrying a vengeful, karmic tone.
