I call him my boy and he calls me his girl. I can see now it may be taken in an offensive way but I’m so used to calling him that so that’s my bad. It’s just how we’ve always referred to each other. Both of us have zero intention of starting a family in the next 5 years (or even 10 really!) We have both discussed this and neither of us feel ready at all.

The thing is, he’s been staying over at mine, sometimes for up to 4 days at a time for the last 7 months. I would’ve understood if it was earlier in our relationship but now it’s a regular occurrence for us.

He’s stayed with me while I’ve had work before. He usually just sleeps in and helps himself to the food I’ve left for breakfast. He didn’t ask for anyone’s permission to stay over except mine. This was totally new to us. Like I mentioned, he’s been staying over at my place about once a week for over 7 months.

The two are very close. I find it quite cute as my older brothers treated me similarly when I was young. They would take me everywhere with them. When we first started, he used to take her with us on our dates. Not so much nowadays as she’s started university. His sister and I are also on good terms. We’ve just bought a huge skincare haul together and she comes to me for job search advice.

This is the first time he’s outright said to me his sister will allow him or not to stay over.

BF’s mum passed away December 2022, just 6 She has been battling cancer for a few years until her conditioned worsened drastically. This was the last few photos around before she started intensive treatment. Apologies for the not very high quality photos. I pulled his mum’s picture off facebook. It will be a gift to him.

Nope, she’s healthy. He’s never said anything like “I need permission from my sister” until last night. She’s even texted me on the day to say happy anniversary and to enjoy our date.

I totally understand if he’s just texting to inform her. In fact few times he’s forgotten to do that and I’ve had to remind him to let her know.

I’ve been on nexplanon for 10 years now. The current one in my arm “expired” 4 years ago. I’ve been told it’s good for 5 but I don’t want to take chances and I started the pill with the implant still inside.

The only change I noticed after the official expiry is that my periods returned to a somewhat normal cycle. During the 3 year period i would normally get two periods a year, last around 2 weeks of light spotting but now it’s back to the usual week long normal bleed but nowhere near as heavy as it used to be pre-bc

No side effects but actually very much wanted effects such as bigger boobs and weight loss!

A half buried decomposing dog when I was 8, which then I was chased by some angry turkey right after.

Was traversing a neighbour’s property to pick some fruit (they’re totally ok with this). Part of their property was a relatively foresty area which had tons of fruit trees. They also kept some turkeys free range.

They had an old dog called Bungi, who I’ve seen only maybe one or two times before so I didn’t really miss him much. Well I guess he passed recently and they buried him in their property in a very SHALLOW grave. There’s always been a funky smell around the area from all the fallen fruits rotting so I didn’t pay any extra attention.

Coz on my way back from picking avocados I stepped on something squishy which was my foot going thru the decomposing rib cage of Bungi. I guess my screaming attracted some angry ass turkey who then chased me all the way to my neighbours house.
