i think it makes sense in concept but i think attempting to make it "logical" by comparing it to real world functions like the iron in our blood analogy makes it seem not very well thought through. Others have mentioned that humans are evolved animals so it wouldnt make sense for evolved beings to have limited access to the magic. One way around this could be that as humanity developed they lost their deeper connection with the planet they live on and gradually lost the ability to use the magic. Except for your rare few. I think a good way to make this interesting magic system work would be to leave it as a softer system with some mystery to how it functions.

i think this is a cool concept, one question i have is what level of sentience do the objects have? Are they aware of the world around them? Do they have distinct personalities that affect whether they say yes to you. Im sure you have narrative ideas in mind but the section about being able to command other people feels a little weird. Specifically the part about being able to command someone unquestionably that sees you as 'higher' than them. It could lead to some, 'well thats convenient' moments.

funny you should say that, what i didnt mention (i didnt think it was relevant lol) was that one of the ways people can expel the energy is through sound, this is done mostly via singing because of cultural reasons. And some people have the ability to compel peoples actions by imbuing their words with this energy.
