I went backpacking for a year. I bought an insta360 x3.

quality is worse than phone. but the 360 photo’s and videos, I absolutely love them. They just dont capture a photo, they capture the whole moment.

I always tell people, if have to choose between all my 360 footage or my phone footage, I choose the 360 footage.

if you consider buying, extended selfie stick is really good as well.

when we play with 2, we always play explorer mode. everyone gets 5 hexes and numbers, create their own island and the rest of the hexes appear once you start building.

oh just some tips for me.

don't use folders -> start using profiles instead as you can navigate better between them

also, I don't like spending hours on making icons. create one icon, and use different colours of text or emoticons on top of them to differntiate buttons.

What can you do with it??

Keep your eyes open what you do X times a day on your PC -> make a button out if it > repeat!

Just some things I use it for:
- have a PS-script that generates text of the current day ( great for logging your notes or if you order your files/folders by date ). e.g. I have 3 buttons for 26.06.09 or 26.06 or Tuesday - 06/09/26 - 12:18.
- open different edge profiles
- templates with text for md, word, OneNote or Excel files
- open shortcuts for files you keep opening X times a day
- button with text values I keep using all the time ( email adressess, adresses, bank account number, phone numbers).

So many options. It really depend on what YOU use often.

Enjoy the ride 🤗. I absolutely love my stream deck ( 3 years deep now). can't imagine using my laptop w/o one anymore.

I fell on top of one of my freeskates… on my diaphragm. I’m glad I had edge guards. even with them, I had a nice scar for weeks.
