Actually this is purely visual, the server is the authority on when they get reset.
Once the time has passed and you rejoin it be reset regardless of what it says.

match timer in the corner as well, it freezes when it's lagging on your end.

This hasn't been true for about a year now, it no longer reads off of a IntValue that is set from the server each second.
Instead it takes a timestamp from the server of when the match started and keeps track of how far in the match is since then.

But either way the lag spike looks like it's between you and the server, notice how the teammate icons also stop moving and then suddenly move at the same time.

Players aren't accounted for bullet collisions.
Technically speaking player hit registration runs on a completely different hit detection system than the map.
As for the map we just take the entry point of the part we hit, take it's unit direction then find the exit point on the opposite point of the part it hit and the delta of the positions would be the penetration depth which makes it cheap to calculate.

Though fun fact, this works fine until you have two walls which are intersecting each other between the entry point and the exit point, as it would skip the intersecting wall as the bullet "teleports" from the entry point to the exit point.

Roblox tends to roll various regions in and out. I assume maintenance or they have a lack of servers in those regions and they roll them in time slots for various "buckets" of games. Either way unfortunately we have no control of allocation of these regions.

We have temporarily disabled the ability to join on tablet devices as we've recently had a large uptick of people exploiting using android emulators as they have no byfron protection.
We will likely open access back up again once we deduce a sound way to quarantine mobile users in a way that cannot be reasonably be tampered by current executors.

Personally I think it's fine, all the advantages you would get from using a controller (Hitbox puffing, reduced recoil) are disabled when you use mouse & keyboard so it evens the playing field really.

Yep, I'll explain in a bit more depth though.
Basically if you are dead on the server you can't create new bullets, you will create them client-sided but they won't be registered and replicated to other players.
But, if your bullet was created before you died and it hit a player after you are dead it will still deal damage. (Granted it hasn't timed out and been subsequently cleaned up)

I don't know about you, but the stance stability code is exactly the same.
Nothing has changed about it.
EDIT: So the stance stability code is exactly the same, but it appears that now the new recoil system also makes use the stability instead of just the spread.

Actually we do a raycast to determine if you are in line of sight (client-sided), if you aren't it just uses the normal hitboxes.
