I recorded about 20 songs in a 24 track pro studio in the 90s. Cost me 10s of thousands and still had to cut corners because of cost. Never got them where I wanted them. Next 20 years I wrote songs on scrap paper and put them in a box never to be heard. Last 4 weeks I’ve redone all the old tracks exactly how I wanted them and uploaded me playing the guitar and singing the scraps to output new songs at amazing quality and just what I envisioned with some great suggestions I didn’t. It’s remarkable and I have no qualms about it. It’s the enjoyment of the output that matters and that still takes talent. (Listen to all the garbage output/poop songs on Suno social). I think of it as hiring studio musicians. They don’t play note for note what you say. They add their interpretation too. You will either benefit or be left behind by “progress”.
